Calling all COWs - the Planning Director has asked the Town Council to interpret the definition of ‘accessory buildings’ and ‘detached structures.’ It seems they’re focusing particularly on maximum height, as well as determining the size of the main residence. This will be a mighty important meeting for the many COWs out there with barns and stables; while we don’t know what the Planning Director is trying to get at, we do know that the decision could be serious for all of us on the ranch. Make sure to get down to that meeting at 7:30pm, and have a say in what effects your property before it’s too late. Stand up and be COWnted!

Autumn is here, and in a couple days we’ll all be gathered in our barns celebrating all we have to be thankful for this past year. COWs can be thankful for many things: we live in a beautiful town nestled in the foothills, we have a wonderful community, and COWs are working together to be ‘herd’ at town hall.
We look forward to the day that the Town develops a more constructive attitude towards everyone, and we are happy that the Town is beginning to recognize that bicyclists and equestrians can share the road. It is an important step in the right direction. We wish all who share our pasture a happy holiday.
