The Council is holding the first of two public discussions on the Tree Protection Ordinance next Tuesday. The agenda is a bit cryptic so we don’t know exactly what is being proposed. However, in our survey, 57% of the repondents had had either an excellent or good experience with the tree removal permit process.

Also on this meeting agenda is a resolution establishing deadlines for the availability of Council, Planning Comission and ASRB packet. We don’t yet know the time line or the exceptions. Comments to our poll indicate this is an important issue for many COWs.
