We received the following email from Town Manager Susan George in response to comments posted to a recent article. We want to thank Ms. George for the correction and letting us know who is responsible for recruitment.

Dear Citizens of Woodside:

I was informed over the weekend that someone had posted comments on your website referring to the executive search firm that was involved when the Town hired Hope Sullivan in 2001. The postings evidently indicate that Management Partners, Inc. was that firm. Please be advised that Management Partners was not the search firm used for that or any other Town recruitment. The Town has heretofore utilized CPS Human Resources out of Sacramento.
