Where is Hope? RoMOOrs abound. We wish we could tell you the answer but we don’t know. We will keep looking. On June 13th, we asked the Town for records which

“show Hope Sullivan’s employment status during the period of May 1 through June 30 of this year, including but no limited to days that she was present, on vacation, paid administrative leave, unpaid administrative leave, or sick leave; show Kent Dewell’s employment status during the period of December 31 through June 30 including but not limited to days that he was present, on vacation, paid administrative leave, unpaid administrative leave, or sick leave; all letters, emails, or other documents with, reflecting or commenting on complaints or concerns (other than privileged internal personnel documents) about the conduct or performance of Hope Sullivan for the past 1 year; and all letters, emails, or other documents with, reflecting or commenting on complaints or concerns (other than privileged internal personnel documents) about the conduct or performance of all other planning, building and engineering staff for the past 1 year.”

Last night 13 days later, we were advised by Town Attorney Jean Savaree that the Town needs 14 more days to find the information. So what are they hiding, or maybe they don’t know what Hope’s status is either?

I am sick of the lack of accountability in this town. Susan George answers to an out of touch and uncaring council none of them will take responsibility for the damage Sullivan and company have caused citizens.

Susan George will not tell anyone what has happened to Hope. If she did then everyone will know that she should have done something about Hope two or more years ago when she held all those meetings about poor service and suspected retaliation.

What IS the Town hiding? I fully suspect retaliation on staff’s part that someone finally stood up too. Hope and her staff have been the direct cause of Woodsiders needlessly spending thousands of dollars more than others in the “process”. I understand another planner is also out; finally something is starting to happen!
